FAQ
- Is this DUPR?
- No. This is a Pickleballr skill snapshot for rec play and tournament self-entry. It is not DUPR, not UTR-P, and not an official rating. DUPR only moves when you log real matches. Get a real DUPR at dupr.com.
- Can a quiz give 5.0?
- No. A quiz cannot rate 5.0+ players. The highest this estimator will show is 4.5, with a range that tops out at 4.7. If every answer is maxed, we tell you to get a DUPR.
- How do I use this number for tournament self-entry?
- Treat the number as ±0.25 and start at the lower end of a tournament bracket. If we show 3.5, enter 3.5 or 3.0 — not 4.0. The snapshot is for self-entry, not an official rating.
- What is a bottleneck cap?
- A bottleneck cap is a ceiling we apply after the weighted average. If your third shot, dinks, resets, backhand, who you beat, or experience is still at 3.0 or below, the snapshot cannot jump past that skill. One weak skill holds the number down on purpose.
